John Heche, the Deputy Chairperson of Tanzania’s opposition party has denied entry into Kenya to attend the burial of Raila Odinga .He took to social media platform X to describe the incident as unlawful and deeply personal.Heche claimed that Tanzanian authorities attempted to detain him without following due process.He complained that his passport had been taken away without being given any reasons. He urged his fellow countrymen not to allow authorities to break law.

“I have not committed any offense . A country without following the law is dangerous for everyone,” he stated . The CHADEMA official said his trip to Bondo was motivated by respect and admiration for Raila Odinga . Being prevented from attending his funeral is an event I will never forget . I am very hurt. Rest in peace, Father,” Heche added .This denial has drawn attention to the procedures governing Tanzanian citizens traveling abroad.
