NAIROBI’S PROTESTERS BACKS PALESTINIAN

On the afternoon of Saturday, September 21, 2025, a peaceful protest in support of the Palestinian people unfolded in Nairobi, beginning with a vibrant convoy of motorbike and car riders who gathered at Adams Arcade around 2:00 PM. The participants, waving Palestinian flags and displaying placards with messages such as “Free Palestine” and “End the Occupation,” moved in unison through major roads, drawing attention and support from onlookers. The motorcade maintained a steady pace as it made its way toward Uhuru Park, where the main event was held. By 3:30 PM, a large crowd had assembled at the park, where activists, religious leaders, and community members took turns addressing the gathering. Speakers denounced the ongoing violence in Gaza and the West Bank, calling for an immediate ceasefire and urging international bodies to intervene. Attendees stood in solidarity, some holding candles, others in silent prayer or chanting slogans of peace and justice. The demonstration remained orderly and concluded at approximately 5:30 PM, with organizers thanking participants and reaffirming their commitment to advocating for Palestinian rights through continued civic action.
